Summer 2012 is a colorful collection inspired by high-end themes that stay true to the Crooks lifestyle. Mixing both high luxury with street, these motifs are based around various fabrications, colors, custom graphics, patches and trims. The cleverly named Smuggler’s group puts a twist on your classic camoflauge and chambray by creating patchwork details combined with bold appliques. The “Anchors” capsule portrays familiar aquatic visuals such as knots and anchors. The Mahalo group incorporates our version of a Hawaiian print while the Voyage group takes summer travel to a different level with the use of custom logo patch-like graphics, creating an all-over pattern with Crooks-specific vocab. Staying true to the brand, we had to create an athletic group which contains street lock-ups on various knit fabrics, including stripes and solids both accented with pop colors. Back by popular demand, we have revisited your favorite air-gun graphics, the classic Medusa, Coca Cav and other smuggling-visuals. The key concept of Summer is to have fun and we hope you will enjoy this collection, because we had fun designing it!
